We Strengthen the Human in the Uniform.
Haruki is not therapy. Haruki is not a wellness app.
It is tactical resilience training.
Haruki is not an add-on. It is a tactical resilience training platform built into the structure of the agency itself, through onboarding, annual training, or critical incident response.
The agency deploys it. The calendar holds it. The standard demands it.

How It Works
Haruki is built around one premise: the time to build resilience is before the critical incident, not after it.
The same way you train to clear a building, establish an IV line, or memorize every street in your district, resilience requires repetition, realism, and practice before the moment demands it.
Haruki is that practice.
Through scenario-based training drawn from real occupational experiences, the calls that stay with you, the shifts that follow you home, and challenges of life outside the job, personnel develop the psychological muscle memory to recognize stress early, regulate effectively, and recover faster.

The Clinical Foundation
Dr. Perkins spent more than 25 years treating military personnel, veterans, and first responders across military installations, Veterans Affairs settings, and private practice. For two decades, she watched the same pattern repeat: professionals entered high-stress occupations with no proactive resilience training, received little or no support until something broke, and by the time they sought help, the psychological injury had already moved into their families, their relationships, and their lives.
She did not build Haruki to respond to that pattern. She built it to interrupt it.
Before founding Haruki, Dr. Perkins served as a Master Resilience Trainer in her forward deployed, civilian role with the U.S. Department of Defense and as Director of Airman and Family Services, building and delivering similar evidence-based resilience framework that now forms the backbone of Haruki's scenario design and training architecture.
That foundation, combined with the MITRE-licensed framework, and her research in academia and private practice, gives Haruki a clinical depth no external vendor can replicate or purchase.
Dr. Perkins holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education and Supervision, a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling, and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication. She has taught in academic settings at the Citadel (SC), Libert University (VA) and Capella (MN). She serves as a Board Member-at-Large for the International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors and Liaison to the American Counseling Association, Chair of the Board of Charleston Hope, and board member for Landmarks for Families. She has delivered keynote addresses, workshops, and training across the United States and in 22 countries, including Costa Rica, Japan, Kenya, Tanzania, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam.
"Twenty-five years in the room with the people this nation depends on taught me one thing: they were never given the tools before the weight became unbearable. Haruki is the tool I wish I could have given every one of them, before the call that broke them, not after."
-Dr. Jeannelle Perkins, LMFT-S
